FX has ordered a second season of Noah Hawley’s science fiction show, Alien: Earth, according to Deadline.

Fortunately for Meredith, Bronwyn shows up with a way to let off some steam. She’d taken Britani’s favorite stuffed unicorn and playfully dares Meredith to throw it into the ocean. But it quickly becomes clear this was just an excuse for Bronwyn to use those silly inflatable costumes again—and both she and Meredith put them on, hoping to be discreet while getting rid of the unicorn. This act effectively destroys the only way Britani might ever hear Jared tell her he loves her.

Jimmy Kimmel and Marco Escobedo became friends in 1977 after Kimmel’s family moved to Las Vegas. Following the initial publicity for the film, reports emerged that NBC agreed to let Yang work on the project as long as he continued his commitments to Saturday Night Live during filming. To really capture viewers, a science fiction show needs a compelling and frightening setting, whether it features futuristic technology or strange beings. This world needs to feel believable and well-thought-out, not silly or forced. A common problem is shows getting lost in complicated storylines that don’t ultimately lead to a rewarding conclusion.

In Predator: Badlands, Dek comes across both Predator and Prey while tracking the Kalisk on Genna. Director Dan Trachtenberg skillfully combines these two universes in a new and exciting way. The film focuses on this central crossover and doesn’t get bogged down in explaining the broader connections to previous Predator or Prey movies.
