In Zootopia 2, Nick Wilde (Jason Bateman) and Judy Hopps (Ginnifer Goodwin) are back as partners at the Zootopia PD, and the film really leans into their contrasting personalities – a dynamic that worked so well in the first movie. The first part of the film hits all the classic buddy cop beats: they get scolded by their boss (Idris Elba) for a mistake, and then go off on their own when they suspect something isn’t right. What truly makes the film succeed is Nick and Judy themselves; they’re a charming and believable pair, brought to life by the directors, Jared Bush and Byron Howard (who also wrote the script), and perfectly cast voice actors.

Kelli Giddish left the main cast of SVU in 2022 after 12 seasons, but she’s returned for guest appearances several times, including again this year. She told Extra she’s thrilled to be back, saying the show feels fresh even in its 27th season. SVU is currently airing its 22-episode season, and with Giddish and Ice-T each appearing in about half of the episodes so far, there seems to be enough space for all the detectives at the precinct.

As a huge comedy fan, I have to say, Schitt’s Creek really surprised me. Created by Eugene and Dan Levy, it started out quietly but slowly built this incredibly dedicated fanbase over its six seasons. What I loved most was how genuinely funny it was, and the characters felt so perfectly cast. It wasn’t afraid to be different from other sitcoms; it would hint at familiar storylines but consistently avoided those predictable, overused tropes. It’s honestly the perfect show to binge-watch, and even rewatching it, it’s amazing how often it subverted expectations and didn’t go the way you thought it would.

Jones simply didn’t have enough availability to commit to a major role throughout the final season.
