As a huge Marvel fan, I found something really cool hidden in the original teasers for Endgame. The Steve Rogers teaser had a code – “1e:24ber:02020” – which actually lines up with the 1:24:20 mark in the movie. That’s the exact moment the Ancient One explains how taking an Infinity Stone creates alternate timelines! And it doesn’t stop there. The Thor teaser ends with “1e:17ber:02020,” translating to 1:17:20. That’s when Ant-Man kicks the Tesseract case, leading directly to Loki’s escape and, well, the whole Loki series! It’s crazy how much they foreshadowed everything.

As a huge fan of the Game of Thrones universe, I’m really excited about the new series, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, which starts on HBO January 18th. It’s a totally different vibe than what we’re used to, taking place a century before the events of Game of Thrones. We follow Ser Duncan the Tall, a struggling knight played by Peter Claffey, and his young squire, Egg (Dexter Sol Ansell), as they travel around Westeros. Forget massive battles and dragons – this story is much more grounded and focused on everyday life. The first season mainly centers around a jousting tournament, which sounds like a refreshing change of pace!

Season one of Ted, starring Max Burkholder, Alanna Ubach, Scott Grimes, and Giorgia Whigham, was a success for creator Seth MacFarlane and streaming service Peacock, receiving the best reviews of any show in the Ted franchise. Although specific viewership numbers haven’t been released, the show was renewed for a second season and an animated spin-off is also being developed.

I’m so excited! Neil Gibson, the creator behind Twisted Comics, is finally releasing the Black Mirror graphic novels! Both of these projects started as Kickstarter campaigns, and fans of the show really came through, completely funding them and even exceeding the goals. Now they’re finished, and each one offers a fresh take on a different episode of Black Mirror. I can’t wait to check them out!

The debut of Star Trek: Starfleet Academy hasn’t gone well, and it’s hard to overlook the poor performance. Paramount+ did something unusual by releasing the first episode for free on YouTube, hoping to attract new viewers and get them to subscribe. However, the initial results indicate this strategy backfired and didn’t generate the expected interest.

Fantasy movie lovers are really looking forward to a new Narnia series, especially since Disney’s previous films stopped after just three movies. Netflix is taking a big risk with this project, investing a lot of money and effort. Whether it becomes a huge success and Netflix’s next big franchise, or a major disappointment, will likely be clear by the end of the year.

According to a recent report from Dread Central, the script for The Brave and The Bold is finished. DC Studios is currently aiming for a 2028 release date, though they haven’t officially confirmed this information yet.
