In a recent interview with *POC Culture*, Marvel’s Brad Winderbaum and Bryan Andrews discussed the *Marvel Zombies* series and clarified why Mahershala Ali didn’t voice the character of Blade, who appears as Blade Knight in the animated show. They explained that it wasn’t due to any issues with the upcoming *Blade* movie or the character’s future, but simply a matter of scheduling conflicts. Winderbaum stated it was “really a timing issue,” and Andrews added that they would have been thrilled to include Ali in the series.

Essentially, it’s about a man who believes he’s uncovered a crime involving a chair company, and his life spirals out of control as he investigates. The main story is easy to follow, even if some of the side paths are a bit confusing.
