Laurence Fishburne Says X-Men Hero Is “Most Appropriate” MCU Role for Him

I’m really excited to hear about the new X-Men movie Jake Schreier is directing! It sounds like it won’t be coming out until after Avengers: Secret Wars in late 2027, which feels like a long wait, but good things come to those who wait. I was surprised to learn that Laurence Fishburne, who was great as Bill Foster in Ant-Man and the Wasp, would be interested in playing Professor X if they reboot the franchise. Honestly, I think he’d be amazing in the role, and I’d absolutely love to see him take it on if they start fresh with the X-Men!

‘She Was Miyazaki’s Type’: Studio Ghibli Founder Says Major Anime Character ‘Wasn’t Chosen for Her Voice’

Studio Ghibli producer Toshio Suzuki recently shared an interesting story during a Tokyo event celebrating the new 4K remaster of Princess Mononoke. He explained that voice actress Masako Ishida wasn’t chosen for her vocal talent, but because Hayao Miyazaki, Ghibli’s co-founder, was particularly impressed with her. Suzuki recalled seeing Miyazaki’s reaction when Ishida greeted the team after voicing Okiyo in Pom Poko. He remembered Miyazaki’s lip twitching with approval, and said that was the deciding factor – she simply fit Miyazaki’s preferences.

Are Megan and Jordan From Love Is Blind Still Together?

The couple experienced some friction early on in the competition. While in Baja, Walerius found Keltner irritating at a group event. Back in Denver, she wished he would open up more about his job or simply talk more to avoid awkward silences. Keltner, on the other hand, felt Walerius could be harsh in her communication and wished she was more considerate of his work commitments and need for rest.

IT: Welcome to Derry Review — A Pennywise Prequel That’s More Goosebumps Than Horror

Created by Andy and Barbara Muschietti, along with Jason Fuchs (the team behind the It films), the series delves into the unsettling history of Derry. IT: Welcome to Derry features a new group of characters, including the father of Mike Hanlon, one of the original Losers’ Club members. While Bill Skarsgård reprises his role as Pennywise the Clown, the first season (or at least the initial five episodes shown to reviewers) doesn’t offer many outright scares. However, the prequel does succeed in enriching the town’s backstory and the mythology surrounding Pennywise.

Yes, That Person Really Left The Morning Show

In a shocking turn of events, Stella Bak is leaving The Morning Show. Greta Lee, who plays Stella, made her final appearance in last night’s episode. The episode was a disaster for Stella: she hurt Chris, discovered her AI technology wasn’t ready for a major event, failed to secure a partnership, and confided in a digital version of herself. To make matters worse, that AI then publicly exposed her affair with her boss’s husband, Miles, leading to her resignation. Her attempt to escape to Italy with him also failed, leaving her heartbroken and alone on a plane. Ultimately, Stella’s story ends in tragedy, betrayed by both people and technology.
