What’s Happening to the White House Movie Theater?

Just because the White House is getting rid of its old movie theater doesn’t mean movies are gone for good – everyone has phones, after all! According to a report, the East Wing is undergoing renovations, and a new theater will be part of the updates. However, there are no firm plans yet about when the new theater will be built or if it will be bigger or better than the original. That’s disappointing! But if they are building a new theater, the best thing they could do is make it a 4DX experience.

Matlock Recap: A Game of Chicken

I completely get why this week’s Matlock quickly moves past last week’s dramatic ending, where Olympia regained control over Matty by getting some compromising information. Within just a few scenes of “Tomorrow Is Still Tomorrow,” they’ve already resolved their conflict. And while their reconciliation is partly due to practical reasons, it feels right for the characters, the actors, the writers, and the audience to see Matty and Olympia working together.

Matlock’s Matty Is Running Out Of Allies After A Surprise Season 2 Departure, And This One Stings

Things have been increasingly difficult for Matlock ever since the end of last season. This season has seen a power struggle between Matty and Olympia, with both trying to gain the upper hand. In the recent episode, “Tomorrow Is Still Tomorrow,” they managed to protect their plan to expose Senior, but had to let someone at Jacobson Moore take the fall. This means Matty has lost a valuable ally, and it was a particularly shocking loss. I’m really going to miss Mrs. Belvin!

The Real Housewives of Orange County Recap: Crocks in a Pot

Visiting the tulip field feels a bit strange. It’s not just the atmosphere, but it seems designed more for social media photos than actual farming. You start to wonder if they even sell the tulips – or if they just charge people, mostly middle-aged women, to take pictures and create content for their own social media, effectively making money off the photos instead of the flowers themselves. It makes you question if the owners are getting rich off people like Gretchen, who pose in quirky hats and offer discount codes. Is that a viable business plan? Could someone actually make a living doing that?

Kim Kardashian Shares Brain Aneurysm Diagnosis

This season of The Kardashians is covering a lot of personal ground, and the premiere episode revealed Kim’s struggles with co-parenting with her ex, Ye (formerly Kanye West). Kim shared that her psoriasis flared up again due to the stress, explaining she felt she had to fiercely protect herself and her children. She also admitted to feeling like she had developed a form of Stockholm syndrome during their relationship, taking responsibility for Ye’s actions. While she’s moved past that mindset, she continues to face online criticism and misinformation about their relationship. She clarified that Ye has never contacted her to ask about their four children, despite online claims that she’s preventing him from seeing them.

Isabelle Tate, 9-1-1: Nashville Actress, Dead at 23

Hunter McVey, who worked with Isabelle Tate on an episode of 9-1-1: Nashville that aired on October 9th, shared his sadness after hearing of her passing. McVey played a character who received a lap dance from Tate’s character, Julie, in the episode. He told People magazine that he hadn’t known Tate before filming, but she was a wonderful colleague. He recalled being nervous on his first day and how Tate always offered encouraging words after each take. He described her as having a joyful energy and said he was grateful for the chance to work with her, adding that her performance will remain a part of the 9-1-1 Nashville pilot forever. He extended his condolences to her family.

After Law And Order Recruited Joshua Malina For A Scandal Reunion, I’m Flashing Back To Tony Goldwyn’s Comments About Celebrities Who Want To Play Corpses On His Show

Just because Joshua Malina appears in an upcoming episode of Law & Order on October 23 (available to stream on Peacock the next day) doesn’t mean his character will die. In fact, the promotional materials didn’t even mention a reunion with his Scandal co-star until Malina and Goldwyn posted a playful video referencing their time on Scandal and a famous line from The West Wing. Check it out here:

Here’s The Problem With Comic Book Blind Bags

The comic book industry is increasingly using “blind bags” – sealed comics where the cover is a surprise until you open them. These can sometimes contain rare variant covers. Some publishers, like DC with their “Blind as a Bat” and “Lights Out” bags for Batman and DC KO respectively, charge extra for these mystery comics (the Batman variants were all foil covers). Other publishers, such as IDW and Marvel, offer them at the regular comic book price, simply adding an element of surprise to the purchase.
