According to data from The Numbers, The Running Man has earned $30.4 million worldwide after five days in cinemas. Of that, $19.4 million came from North American theaters, and $11 million from international audiences. Reaching $30 million globally is a significant achievement, one that only 21 other movies based on the works of Stephen King have accomplished.

Often, when popular artists create songs for kids’ movies, the results feel a little flat, like they’re just going through the motions. But Ice Spice’s gentle delivery actually fits perfectly with the song’s theme, “Big Guy.” She doesn’t try to overdo it or act like she’s the star; she simply repeats that SpongeBob is, in fact, a big guy who wears pants, and that’s that!
The creator shared a photo on Instagram of a t-shirt they received as a crew member of the movie. The shirt features an older design of one of the characters. They explained they were happy to have been involved, even though they joined the production near the end. The caption read, “My crew t-shirt just arrived. Only joined at the end of the production, but still happy I was a part of it.”
With Zack Snyder actively releasing films on Netflix, many fans hoped the streaming service would be the place to see his planned sequels to Justice League and any other future movies in his shared universe.
