During a recent earnings call, Disney CEO Bob Iger discussed the company’s future films. He expressed strong optimism about their 2026 movie lineup, and anticipates continued success in 2027 and 2028 as well.

Stephen King’s strongest novellas are found in his 1992 collection, Four Past Midnight. Published ten years after Different Seasons, it was only his second collection of this longer short story format. The book features four tales: “The Langoliers,” “Secret Window, Secret Garden,” “The Library Policeman,” and “The Sun Dog.” While some of these stories haven’t been adapted well, they’re ideally suited for individual segments, similar to how King’s 1982 film Creepshow successfully adapted five of his short stories. Creepshow divided each story into a segment, focusing on the horror without unnecessary additions. King’s novellas from Four Past Midnight would work perfectly with this same approach.

In the 1970s, Kier appeared in two films directed by Andy Warhol and Paul Morrissey: Flesh for Frankenstein and Blood for Dracula. Paramount+ has renewed Star Trek: Strange New Worlds for a fifth season, although it will be shorter than previous seasons. This announcement came when season 3 began airing in June. Season 4 finished filming in the summer of 2025 and is expected to launch on Paramount+ in 2026, with season 5 likely to arrive in 2027.
It’s natural to see Harry Potter differently as we get older. When we first read the books as children, many of the subtler stories and deeper meanings went over our heads – either because they were implied or the themes were too complex for us to fully understand. Now, as adults who grew up with the series, we can appreciate the books’ complexity and depth on a reread.
