Before a screening of A24’s new film, The Drama, attendees were given a polite request, styled like wedding instructions, not to share a key, shocking moment from the movie. The card asked everyone to keep the plot a secret until after the film’s release, much like asking guests to refrain from taking photos during a wedding ceremony.
As a big Seinfeld fan, I always come back to this George line – it just nails what makes him such a hilariously flawed and brilliant character. But honestly, it’s become more than just a funny moment. Looking back, it feels strangely spot-on about the world we’re living in now, which is kind of wild.
Disney+ and Lucasfilm have confirmed that Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord will return for a second season before the current season even begins. The announcement came directly from Dave Filoni, the series creator and executive producer, who was recently named co-president of Lucasfilm.

While promoting their new movie, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Charlie Day was playfully questioned by Chris Pratt in an interview with VT. Pratt challenged Day to quickly state the total number of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia episodes. Day impressively responded with the current total of 187 episodes and added that 10 more are scheduled to be released this year.
Devs is a standout sci-fi show because it truly reflects the unique vision of creator Alex Garland. He’s known for his thought-provoking films, Ex Machina and Annihilation, and brings that same intelligent and intense style to this FX on Hulu series. The eight-episode format allows him to explore complex ideas in greater depth.
The story revolves around Agnes, portrayed by Chase Infiniti, who is actually June’s daughter Hannah. It’s set four or five years after the events of The Handmaid’s Tale finale – much closer in time than the 15-year gap in the book. This was a deliberate choice to allow for believable character development and to tell the story through the perspective of the older Agnes, showing us what happened as it unfolded rather than just remembering it later. Agnes is still trapped within the oppressive world of Gilead, and she has no knowledge of her true family or any memory of life before the one she currently knows.
I first noticed her talent when she was on The O.C. in 2004-2005 – that show was surprisingly good, and many of us immediately recognized her as a captivating performer. More recently, she directed the film Don’t Worry Darling (2022). Now, she’s returning to that type of genre with I Want Your Sex (2026). Magnolia Pictures has acquired the film for around seven figures and plans to release it in theaters this summer on July 31st, according to Deadline.
