Andrew Stanton, who has been involved with the Toy Story films from the start – writing all of them except Toy Story 3 (where he just wrote the story) – is now directing a Toy Story movie for the first time. Toy Story 5 is slated for release in 2026. When asked by DiscussingFilm what he’s most looking forward to about revisiting this world, he responded:

Crunchyroll customers are reporting that pre-orders for anime and manga, originally placed with Right Stuf Anime, are being canceled. He doesn’t seem to notice, or care, that the apartment still feels heavy with sadness and death, even as he spends hours playing Halo and collecting disturbing content.
