It’s easy to see why people got so invested in *The Summer I Turned Pretty*. Like many stories before it – even the Bible has sparked conflict for centuries – it explored intense rivalries and complicated love. The show had echoes of classic tales: the Cain and Abel story, but with a romantic twist; the dark family drama of *Flowers in the Attic*; and the teen angst of *Dawson’s Creek*. You could even see shades of *King Lear* in the way a mother subtly encouraged competition for the same woman. It was a captivating blend of innocence and darkness, fantasy and reality, all set against a beautiful beach backdrop. Ultimately, *The Summer I Turned Pretty* was an addictive show about flawed characters making questionable choices and supporting each other’s bad behavior.
A man in his 30s died after riding Stardust Racers, a popular roller coaster at Epic Universe, according to Spectrum News 13 in Orlando. He was found unresponsive after the ride and transported to a local hospital, but sadly passed away. Authorities have not yet released his name.
The first two episodes of *Black Rabbit* play out like a single, extended introduction. Within that time, actors Bateman and Law convincingly portray brothers, overcoming initial doubts about their casting by showcasing the complex and damaged emotional lives they share.

As America’s Got Talent’s 20th season comes to a close, the final group of performers is incredibly strong thanks to both the recent semifinals and the golden buzzers used earlier in the competition. While the semifinals results weren’t full of surprises when host Terry Crews revealed who was still competing for the million-dollar prize and a Las Vegas show, I didn’t find myself as captivated as I usually do. I believe this is because so many golden buzzers were awarded this season.

The way America is built on risk and chance will eventually affect everyone, and that’s a common theme in many crime stories. When things get tough, even the strongest bonds between people will break as everyone prioritizes their own safety.
The last two episodes revealed the enemy is actually a role-playing video game. Atou is now confronting powerful opponents who each fight using unique rules. Meanwhile, Takou is getting Isla ready for a fight where she’ll single-handedly take on the four Generals and their entire army.
