A user on X (formerly Twitter), known as Sonic City, shared information suggesting a Keanu Reeves-led Shadow the Hedgehog movie could be in development after the release of Sonic the Hedgehog 4.

Starting in 2026, some X-Men characters will appear in two new Marvel Studios projects: X-Men ’97 and Avengers: Doomsday. While multiple X-Men will be featured in both, only a small number will cross over and appear in both shows. Importantly, each project will present different interpretations of the same characters.

I’m really excited for Tron: Ares! Early reports from Variety say it’s expected to open with around $45 to $50 million domestically. It’s directed by Joachim Rønning and the story is about the first time humans encounter beings made of artificial intelligence – apparently, a program from the digital world actually comes into our reality. They’re predicting another $40 to $45 million internationally, which could bring the total opening weekend to as much as $95 million worldwide! I can’t wait to see how it does.

Many game company leaders are increasingly interested in “live service” games – games designed to keep players engaged for a long time rather than offering a finite experience. These games frequently add new features and rewards to encourage players to return regularly, even after completing the main story. While this approach works well for some games, it’s not a good fit for Nintendo, and they should reconsider their strategy before it’s too late.

The most memorable isekai anime either cleverly subvert common fantasy themes or avoid them altogether, which is a major reason why they remain popular. Some of the most beloved examples even blend into other genres, setting them apart from typical isekai shows that fans often dislike. Even when fantasy elements are included, these works still feel original and inventive.

I’m so excited! We finally got the green light from Warner Bros. for the next movie, and we’re starting to plan everything out. We’re hoping to start filming in about nine or ten months. The best part is, a lot of the original crew is coming back – Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Don Cheadle, and Julia Roberts will all be in it! I actually had dinner with Julia just last night, and we’re all still really close. It’s going to be a blast working with them all again.

Following a season premiere that featured a reunion with the stars of *Home Improvement*, *Shifting Gears* continued bringing in special guests. While baseball player Mookie Betts made a quick appearance at the start, Canadian actress Lilly Singh truly shined in this latest episode.

While the original *Lord of the Rings* trilogy is still incredibly popular and beloved, it was made in the early 2000s. Compared to today’s visual effects, some aspects haven’t held up as well. It’s not that the movies are bad – they’re still worth watching! – but it’s worth noting why they might feel a little different to watch now than they did twenty years ago.

There’s an old saying about closed doors leading to new opportunities, but in Season 2 of *Wizards Beyond Waverly Place*, that ‘opportunity’ turned out to be a pretty dark place. Selena Gomez’s character, Alex Russo, returned only to seemingly meet a quick end – a common TV trope where beloved characters are brought back just to be killed off again. This has happened before in shows like *Angel* and *Halloween: Resurrection*. The twist? Alex discovered she had a long-lost daughter, Billie, and ultimately sacrificed herself to seal a dangerous portal to a dark, magical dimension. An evil wizard opened the portal, and the only way to close it was from *inside* that hellish place. Talk about a downer.
