He was talking about Nick and Jessica’s relationship, and it sounds like things are… complicated. He described it as messy, but with a lot going on beneath the surface. Apparently, they’re really digging into the characters’ humanity and all the workplace drama, which he says is always fun to watch. He’s leaving us hanging, but it sounds like things are going to get interesting!

The second season of Peacemaker debuted on HBO Max in August 2025. Created by James Gunn, the show features John Cena returning as Christopher Smith, also known as Peacemaker. The cast also includes Danielle Brooks as Leota Adebayo, Freddie Stroma as Adrian Chase/Vigilante, Jennifer Holland as Emilia Harcourt, and Steve Agee as John Economos.

Variety recently featured Obaid-Chinoy’s work as an executive producer on the short film *Don’t Be Late, Myra*, directed by Afia Nathaniel. Two new streaming series, released on the second anniversary of the October 7th attack, vividly depict the events of that day. One Day in October, a production from Fox Entertainment now on HBO Max, and Red Alert, from Keshet Media and available on Paramount+, both immerse viewers in the terror experienced by those affected. Both shows portray scenes of families sheltering in safe rooms, initially hoping the sirens will pass, but becoming increasingly frightened as gunfire erupts. They also depict individuals caught outside seeking cover while Hamas militants pass by. One Day in October features an episode focusing on Gali and Amit Amar, who spent hours hiding in a portable toilet at the Nova music festival. Meanwhile, Red Alert centers on the Yahalomis, a family who attempt to shelter at home but are ultimately discovered and taken hostage by Hamas.

Jeremy Renner will voice a character in the upcoming animated movie, *Stardust Future: Stars and Scars*. What makes this film unique is that it’s the first full-length movie created entirely using artificial intelligence. Renner will play the Oracle of Time, who narrates the story, taking viewers from the beginning of the universe all the way to the year 2080.

A few of these characters were created simply for laughs, and others were planned for more significant roles that didn’t resonate with viewers. With the Multiverse Saga wrapping up, it’s unlikely we’ll see these MCU characters again as the franchise moves forward. Luckily, most fans aren’t upset about their departure.
