Just to clarify, Back to the Dawn launched on PC through Steam on July 17th of this year. Besides the Nintendo Switch versions (1 & 2), Metal Head Games also plans to release the game on PlayStation 5, but a specific release date isn’t available yet – they’re currently aiming for sometime in 2026.

Maya hosted a fundraiser called the Pixel Project where people could donate $100 to reveal one pixel of a digital artwork during her Twitch stream. As donations came in, the image slowly appeared, and after three days, all 10,000 pixels were unlocked, completing the artwork and raising a total of $1 million.

After three days, everyone had donated enough to unlock all 10,000 pixels, which completely finished the mural and raised a million dollars! It was seriously amazing to be a part of.
