2025 has been a fantastic year for Magic: The Gathering, and the card game is finishing strong with its second-to-last set of the year. Following the huge popularity of the recent Final Fantasy collaboration, Wizards of the Coast is planning another visit to the ‘Universes Beyond’ – bringing content from other popular franchises into the game.

They’ll be adding a new map called Stella Montis, a community event where players can unlock content together, plus new quests and items. Embark Studios has released a simple roadmap showing that updates to the North Line are coming later this month, and a larger Cold Snap update is scheduled for December.
