A trusted insider known as Rogue, with connections to Ubisoft, discovered information suggesting that content from the game XDefiant is linked to a new extraction mode being created for the next Far Cry game. Screenshots claiming to show this mode have also appeared online, but their authenticity is being questioned.

Many buildings in the game create special zones of effect. These effects significantly impact your economy.
