Three boss fights were enough. NiOh 3 confirms Team Ninja’s craftmanship

I got to play a demo of the game, and it dropped me right into a later part where my character – I made mine female – had to navigate a pleasure district during the Bakumatsu era. One of the biggest changes in NiOh 3 is how missions work. Instead of picking them from a map and then loading into a location, you just select the mission directly. Now, don’t get me wrong, this isn’t turning into an open-world game like Elden Ring. They were really keen to emphasize that! Each historical period will still have its own map, but they’re way bigger than anything we’ve seen in the previous NiOh games. The levels aren’t completely open, it’s more like we’re following set paths, but there are wider areas to explore. Even though it’s still a fairly linear structure, I found tons of hidden corners with chests, optional bosses, and shortcuts. Honestly, it made the maps feel much bigger and less restrictive than in the older games, which was a relief.

Medieval open-world RPG inspired by Stardew Valley takes a step towards realism. NPCs in Mirthwood will feel the consequences of our actions

I’m so excited about the new Foundations update! It feels like everything we’ve been building towards, and it’s completely changing the way life feels in the Free Lands. The biggest thing for me is that NPCs can actually die now, depending on the choices I make. If I mess up a quest or just ignore someone, they won’t stick around forever – someone new will move into town instead. It makes everything feel so much more real and impactful!

New Mass Effect-style science fiction action RPG doesn’t take realism lightly. The Expanse: Osiris Reborn will „bring the cosmos to life”

The upcoming science fiction story, The Expanse: Osiris Reborn, aims for a realistic feel. While it’s not a simulation, it will be more down-to-earth than games like Mass Effect. To ensure accuracy, the developers consulted with former NASA astronauts and an International Space Station commander to portray life in space authentically.

X has rolled out a new feature that’s got everyone talking. Turns out, a lot of accounts aren’t really who they say they are

When you look at the join date on X profiles now, you’ll see more information than just when the account was first made. It also reveals how many times the username has been changed, any connected accounts, and the account’s general location. This update is designed to help people identify real accounts versus bots. The “Account based in” feature specifically makes it easier to notice if someone isn’t actually located where they say they are in their profile or where you might expect them to be. Many users are already pointing out accounts where the stated location doesn’t match their bio.

How to Use AI Summarizers for Gaming Content

Text summarization tools basically take long pieces of writing and condense them into shorter, easier-to-understand summaries. For example, think about the lengthy update notes for games like Warzone or a detailed guide for a Diablo 4 character build. These tools help you quickly get the key information without having to read everything.

MrBeast wants YouTubers to be more “tight knit” like Twitch streamers

Content creators frequently get ideas by looking at what’s popular on other platforms. For example, YouTubers and Kick streamers have often suggested features from Twitch, TikTok creators often shorten YouTube videos for their content, and Kick streamers are hoping for their own awards show similar to Twitch’s streamer awards.
