The developer compares it to games like Planescape: Torment and Disco Elysium, and that influence is definitely noticeable. The game heavily borrows from the feel of tabletop Dungeons & Dragons, combining that classic, dice-rolling experience with both older and newer role-playing game systems. If everything works well, it could be another compelling, story-focused game.
