I recently rewatched In the Mouth of Madness, and it’s still totally mind-bending. Sam Neill plays John Trent, an insurance investigator who’s trying to figure out where a famous horror author went missing. It starts as a pretty standard investigation, but when he ends up in this tiny town, things get *weird*. Seriously, he starts to lose it as the line between what’s real and what’s made up completely blurs, and it feels like the whole world is in danger. It’s actually the last movie in what fans call Carpenter’s unofficial Apocalypse Trilogy – the other two are The Thing and Prince of Darkness. They all deal with these huge, world-ending kinds of themes, which is pretty cool.

If you’re not familiar with it, The Sword and the Sorcerer is probably the most perfectly named sword-and-sorcery fantasy film ever made. It centers around Talon, a famous mercenary who fights with a unique three-bladed sword. Talon discovers he’s the rightful heir to a kingdom controlled by a wicked sorcerer, and so he embarks on a quest to take back what’s his, rescue a lovely princess, and fight fearsome monsters-basically, everything you’d anticipate in a sword-and-sorcery cult classic. Although The Sword and the Sorcerer received negative reviews from critics, it was a financial success when it came out, and it’s considered a key film in the development of the swords-and-sorcery genre, which would later become very popular with audiences.

Red Dead Redemption 2, the acclaimed wild west game from Rockstar, is considered one of the best games ever made. It’s still highly recommended, especially for those eagerly anticipating GTA 6.

For children who grew up in the 1990s and 2000s, the play areas at fast food restaurants like McDonald’s and Burger King were a common and much-loved part of going out to eat. Many millennials and those in early Gen Z remember fondly crawling through tunnels, climbing ladders, and playing in the ball pit.

Daniel Ahmad, an analyst at Niko Partners, believes Microsoft is counting on its console gamers to remain dedicated to Game Pass, even with the price increase. The company is also expanding its game releases to competing platforms like the PS5 and Switch 2, alongside its continued focus on PC gaming. Ahmad also proposes that Microsoft might introduce an ad-supported tier for Game Pass to ensure the service’s long-term viability.

The YouTuber’s latest video starts with Dewiler both verbally and physically challenging the robot, which then leads to a series of tests. We see Ben attempting risky stunts like stepping off edges, walking into water, and even handling weapons, including a machete. At one point, the robot is asked to babysit, and disturbingly offers a machete to a child.

So, what issues might cause an independent game like this to delay its launch, particularly when fans are finally starting to move on from their obsession with Silksong?

Costco’s famous $1.50 hot dog is considered by many to be one of the best food court items ever – it’s a real treat for fans. So, it’s not surprising that someone managed to get their hands on a sign advertising it.

I originally thought they were talking about Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon, you know, the 2009 remake of the very first Fire Emblem game. I just moved on with my day, but later that evening I found out that Fire Emblem Shadows was something completely new – a mobile game! Apparently, it’s a pretty unique experience where you’re doing real-time strategy and social deduction all at once.
