As a huge fan of Ghost of Tsushima, I was so excited for Ghost of Yotei, the PlayStation 5 sequel! It feels a lot like the first game, which is great, but it also has some cool new stuff. One thing I was *really* looking forward to was Watanabe Mode. It’s a collaboration with Samurai Champloo director Shinichirō Watanabe, and he created original lo-fi music specifically for it. At first, you could *only* hear these awesome beats if you played in Watanabe Mode on your PS5 – it was one of three options, each inspired by a different samurai film director like Akira Kurosawa and Takashi Miike. But now, Sony has released the soundtrack on all the major music streaming services, which is fantastic news! I can listen to it anywhere now!

I’m so excited for the upcoming event in Grow a Garden, it’s called Chubby Chipmunk! The whole thing is themed around rodents, which is super cute. That means we need to get ready to plant a bunch of acorns, I guess! It all kicks off tomorrow, October 4th, 2025, and will run until next Saturday, October 11th. And from what I’ve heard, the update is going to bring a lot of new stuff, like pets and seeds, which I can’t wait to check out!

The company has created a dedicated support form for Destiny Code. Players can submit feedback through this form, even if they’ve only played the demo. aNCHOR will use this feedback to improve both the demo and the full game, which will be released first through Early Access.

I was listening to Christopher Dring’s podcast, *The Game Business Show*, the other day, and he was chatting with industry analyst Joost van Dreunen about the EA deal – you know, the massive $55 billion one. We got into talking about Battlefield 6, and honestly, the numbers are insane! They said the beta had around 25 million players, which is huge. Plus, it racked up 2.4 million Steam wishlists and 1.7 million preorders already. According to van Dreunen and the folks at Ampere Analysis in London, that points to Battlefield 6 potentially being a massive hit when it finally launches.

As a big fan, I just saw on CharlieIntel that Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members don’t get the 10% discount on Call of Duty Points or BlackCell bundles anymore. It seems like this change happened pretty recently. Honestly, it was a really great perk for those of us who regularly buy DLC for Call of Duty, so it’s a bit of a bummer to see it go. I always appreciated being able to save a little money on BlackCell and points!
