The PlayStation 5 version of the game has received six critic reviews on Metacritic, averaging a score of 78 out of 100. The PC version currently has five reviews with an average score of 81. Some critics say the game’s classic style is a fun throwback to the early 1990s, when the second movie in the series was released. Interestingly, players can reportedly complete the game’s story mode in under two hours – less time than it takes to watch the film itself.

Rob Reiner became well-known for playing Mike “Meathead” Stivic on the popular TV show All in the Family. He later became a director, and his first film, the hilarious mockumentary This Is Spinal Tap from 1984, is considered a classic. He recently directed a sequel to that film.

The biggest surprise at The Game Awards 2025 was likely the announcement of Fate of the Old Republic. This new game is a spiritual successor to the beloved Knights of the Old Republic, promising a similar story where your choices matter, and is being led by the original game’s director.

In an interview with Eurogamer, AdHoc’s Nick Herman revealed that the game concludes with a secret personality assessment of the main character, Robert. This assessment, based on player choices, determines whether Robert is ultimately seen as an ordinary person or a flawed hero, with four distinct endings possible.

When Fortnite became incredibly popular, many streamers gained a large following. Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins and Tfue were among the most prominent, and Tfue quickly established himself as a top competitive player.

A new report from The Information suggests Microsoft’s AI development is struggling, largely because sales predictions for its Azure AI products have been lowered. The report also indicated the sales team is having trouble, with little interest from customers. Microsoft disputed these claims, but it’s hard to ignore the fact that Google’s Gemini is quickly gaining popularity.

It’s understandable that fans are trying to link the story with what’s shown in the games. Many have pointed out some details that don’t quite add up when it comes to how the world ended and was rebuilt.

Amazon recently added several new Pokémon Trading Card Game items to its website. The Lugia ex & Latias ex Premium Collection became available on December 12th. While the product listing shows an older Charizard collection, this new Premium Collection features promo cards for Lugia ex and Latias ex, a large Lugia ex card, and 10 Pokémon TCG booster packs. Other new products include the Pokémon TCG Fall 2025 Collector Chest, Mega Kangaskhan ex Box, Team Rocket’s Mewtwo ex League Battle Deck, and Mega Venusaur ex Premium Collection. Everything is currently in stock except the Mega Venusaur collection, which has been selling quickly.

The show largely focused on the lead-up to the devastating Black Spot fire of 1962, but its main purpose was to reveal how Pennywise came to be and his deep connection to the town of Derry. The children ultimately learned that Pennywise is trapped there because the Shokopiwah people created a protective barrier around Derry using pieces of the meteorite he arrived in millions of years ago.

Compared to older consoles like the Dreamcast and PlayStation 2, I don’t think modern gamers are as interested in games focused on vehicles or fast-paced action. In fact, it seems like many players are actively trying to avoid those types of games.
