Okay, so CI Games and Hexworks just dropped a big update – version 2.5 – for Lords of the Fallen. The coolest part? They added a new Veteran Mode! It’s seriously tough – they’re calling it the ‘ultimate test of skill’ – and the bosses are way more aggressive with completely new moves. They’ve also tweaked other enemy behavior and added stuff to the Boss Weapons, so get ready for a real challenge!
The latest gameplay trailer reveals Highguard is similar to Apex Legends in its hero-based team play, but focuses on completing objectives in raids rather than the last-player-standing battle royale format. The game’s story and world are also unique, blending high fantasy elements like magic, horses, and companions with a futuristic, sci-fi style for character powers and weapons.
Lots of new games are offering fresh stories and innovative ways to play, but one upcoming title, expected in 2026, will combine two well-loved game types within a familiar world.

The trailer showed off his awesome weapon – it can change into different forms like poles, a club, and even a sickle! And it looks like Dylan can mess with the environment around him and power up his arms for some seriously powerful close-range attacks. It’s going to be amazing!
Larian Studios says you don’t need to have played previous Divinity games to enjoy the new one, but fans of Divinity: Original Sin and Divinity: Original Sin 2 will find deeper connections and a more rewarding experience.
