I was really bummed to see the news that Meta was making cuts to its Reality Labs division – that’s the team behind their VR games. It seems like those cuts actually happened quickly, because just yesterday, developers from several of those studios – like the ones working on those games – started posting on X and other social media that they’d been laid off. It’s a tough situation, and I’m sad to see talented people losing their jobs.

Kickstarter hasn’t always been successful, but many fantastic projects have been created thanks to the enthusiasm and support of people who wanted to see them happen.

The newest series, Battle Royale: Enforcers, started in 2022 and is set in the same world, decades after the first story. Game of Thrones demonstrated the potential of George R.R. Martin’s detailed universe, transforming political fantasy into a must-watch show. It reintroduced dragons to popular culture and became notorious for unexpectedly killing off major characters – as famously seen in the ‘Red Wedding.’ Importantly, Game of Thrones brought a previously specialized genre into the mainstream.

Arc Raiders launched on October 30, 2025, and quickly gained a lot of positive attention, similar to popular multiplayer games like Fortnite and Apex Legends. Remarkably, after almost three months, the game has still kept most of its players – something that’s uncommon in the fast-paced world of video games today.

You can now preorder Bluey’s Quest for the Gold Pen for consoles before it’s released on June 25th. The game, which is similar to Zelda, was first released on iOS in December and became available on Android January 10th. While the mobile version is free to start and costs $15 to unlock everything, the physical Nintendo Switch 2 version includes the full game on the cartridge for $50. This is $10 more than the game costs on the original Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Xbox. We gave Bluey’s Quest for the Gold Pen a score of 7 out of 10 in our review.
