The key to regaining fans wasn’t about adding a lot of new things or making big changes. Instead, the game succeeded by focusing on what made it great in the first place – specifically, capturing the feel of the popular *Battlefield 3* and *4* games. After spending the last week playing almost everything, it’s clear this focus on the core experience was generally effective. In fact, I haven’t had this much fun playing a Battlefield game since *Battlefield 1* in 2016.

Bye Sweet Carole is a story-driven horror game created by Chris Darril (known for Remothered) and Little Sewing Machine, with help from Meangrip Game Studio. The game takes place in England during the early 1900s, a time when women were fighting for the right to vote. You play as Lana, who is searching for her friend Carole after she disappears from the Bunny Hall orphanage. As Lana investigates, she finds herself pulled into the unsettling world of Corolla.

This game has only been officially released in English on the Sega Master System. While D4 Enterprise has created updated versions for Windows PCs based on older Japanese computers and consoles like the PC-8801, NES, and the Japanese Sega Master System (MarkIII), an official English version for modern platforms hasn’t been announced yet.

Final Fantasy VII and VIII will be released together as a twin pack, and Final Fantasy IX will be sold separately. The twin pack has been available in Asia and Europe for some time, while Final Fantasy IX was previously only available physically in Asia until now. A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms takes place about a hundred years before the story of Game of Thrones begins. It’s a period in Westeros where magic, mythical creatures, and the threat of the undead don’t exist.

In her recent YouTube video, content creator Fryer argued that Xbox has lost a key advantage with the latest Game Pass price increase. She previously considered Game Pass the best value in gaming, but now feels the price hike is a disappointing move driven by profit over player experience. Fryer believes this console generation will likely be remembered more for Microsoft’s pursuit of profit than for its gaming achievements.

Update 1.0.1.0 brings a lot of changes and improvements to the game. These updates are based on feedback players gave during the Battlefield 6 beta tests and Battlefield Labs. Key changes include more realistic movement – jumps are now a bit lower and sliding into a jump won’t carry you as far. The update also makes it less accurate to shoot while jumping or sliding, and repeatedly jumping will slow you down more.

This demo offers a preview of the game’s beginning, featuring the complete tutorial, the first island called Arcadia, and the first two chapters of the story. Players can try out 15 different characters, each with a unique alternate skin, and explore 4 character classes.

Matthew Patrick, known as the host of Game Theory, explained that stepping back from making videos every week has given him more time to focus on causes he cares about and pursue other creative endeavors.

The company first showcased the game and announced its January 30, 2026 release date at Tokyo Game Show 2025 last month. They followed up with a press release that provided more information about the game’s characters and how the combat works.
