Horizon Steel Frontiers, created with Guerrilla Games (the team behind Horizon Zero Dawn and Forbidden West), takes place in the dangerous Deadlands. Players become Machine Hunters, customizing their characters and joining massive raids to gather resources. The game features a new, improved combat system. While no release date has been announced, it’s unusual for a Horizon game not to be coming to PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 4, given the series’ history.
Separate from all of this, there’s been talk about Red Dead Redemption II potentially coming to the new Switch 2 console, as well as updated versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Currently, the ESRB hasn’t rated the game for any of those platforms, though.
