Nine Dots Studio recently announced that the original *Outward*, released in 2019, has been played by over 3 million people.

Along with a short trailer shown during the presentation, Perp Games released an eight-minute gameplay video. This video shows players exploring a destroyed village, learning the story by finding notes, and battling a boss from start to finish.

Okay, so everyone’s been talking about Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson running for president for ages, and it’s actually kinda crazy how much support he has. Seriously, polls show almost half of us would vote for him! I’ve even heard different political parties have tried to get him on board, but he hasn’t said yes yet. He’s playing it cool, which, honestly, is a smart move. I’m kinda curious to see if he’ll actually go for it, though – imagine ‘The Rock’ in the Oval Office!

Call of Shame was a popular online account that, for years, publicly accused players of cheating in games like Call of Duty. They created hundreds of videos using artificial intelligence to narrate what they claimed was proof of hacking. While the person running the account said it was intended to encourage fair play and present evidence, it also sparked a lot of debate and criticism due to the accusations made.

The Yunxian 2 fossil, first discovered in Hubei Province in 1990, has recently been digitally reconstructed and accurately dated to between 940,000 and 1.1 million years ago. Published in the journal Science, the findings indicate this fossil may belong to a previously unknown group within the human evolutionary story, distinct from Homo erectus.

I didn’t see a lot of the game’s full scope during the demo. It took place in an early section where Zelda and her team were exploring underground, and served as a tutorial for controls, the unique Zonai items, and swapping between characters. Since it was so early in the story, the underground area wasn’t very expansive, but the different abilities each of our three characters had were definitely fun to play with.
