Square Enix revealed The Adventures of Elliot during the Nintendo Direct presentation in July, and also gave fans a first look at screenshots and details about the story, characters, and how the game will play.
With Noah Hawley’s new series, *Alien: Romulus*, and *Predator: Badlands*, it’s a fantastic time to be an *Alien* and *Predator* fan. After just eight episodes, the show is considered one of the best *Alien* films and a top show of 2025.
Gearbox announced on social media that they’ve delayed the game, explaining it wasn’t an easy decision. They want to make sure the game is the best it can be for fans and needs more time for development and polishing. They also want to release the game alongside cross-save functionality, which they know is important to players. Gearbox will share a new release date as soon as they finalize their plans.
Okay, so I found out something kinda surprising about the Splinter Cell novels. Turns out Tom Clancy didn’t actually *write* them himself. It’s like with a lot of stuff that has his name on it now – other authors, like David Michaels and Peter Telep, are the ones doing the writing. They try to keep the style similar to how Clancy used to write, but it’s not actually him penning these stories.
Like games such as Getting Over It and QWOP, Baby Steps is incredibly challenging and can be very frustrating. The game is intentionally designed to make players stumble and lose their progress, no matter how skilled they are. Expect to fall, slide backwards, and have to start over frequently.
