The game Keeper is most similar to 2012’s Journey – both tell their stories without words, focus on movement that ranges from slow and thoughtful to quick and energetic, and involve traveling towards a faraway mountain. However, comparing the two feels limiting. Journey is a simple, direct fable, while Keeper constantly changes and explores new ideas in surprising ways. Unlike Journey, where the world is easy to understand, Keeper’s world feels strange and unfamiliar, and its rules aren’t always obvious.

Despite sharing the same “SMB” initials, Super Meat Boy and Super Mario Bros. are very different games that demand vastly different skills. Super Meat Boy is designed around frequent deaths – you’ll likely fail hundreds or even thousands of times. However, that’s intentional! The levels are short, and the challenge lies in learning the fastest and safest way to get from the start to the finish, though it’s incredibly difficult to master.

I just saw the coolest thing on Instagram! Snackolator posted a picture of these new pickle beers coming out – it’s a collab between Grillo’s Pickles and Pabst Blue Ribbon! Apparently, they’re aiming for a May 2026 release. The cans are green and have both companies’ logos on them – Pabst’s classic look mixed with Grillo’s pickle design. I can’t wait to try one!

I’m a huge Guillermo del Toro fan, and it’s awesome how much he loves Frankenstein – the book and all the different movie versions! You can really see that influence in his own films, especially his 2022 stop-motion Pinocchio. He clearly pulls a lot of inspiration from Mary Shelley’s story, and it’s really cool to see how he uses those elements in his work.

There’s a lot of true crime content available this month, but “The Perfect Neighbor” stands out as a difficult, yet crucial, watch. The documentary mainly uses police body camera footage from a two-year investigation and starts by introducing a close community in Ocala, Florida.

I’m so excited – the new event, everyone’s calling it the “server slam,” is happening right now! It’s live on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. You can get it through Steam and the Epic Games Store. I’ve heard the Steam version is rolling out slowly, so if you don’t see it immediately, just keep checking back – it should appear eventually!

The Halo World Championships take place in Seattle, Washington from October 24th to 26th. The event schedule is now available, and Halo Studios will be making an announcement on Friday, October 24th at 1:00 PM Pacific Time / 4:00 PM Eastern Time. According to Halo Studios community director Brian Jarrard, the announcement will be an update about one of their current projects.

According to a statement filed on October 16th, Sony’s Asad Qizilbash revealed that a script for the Horizon movie is already written and they are currently looking for a director. While no potential directors were mentioned, Qizilbash stated the plan is to start filming in 2026 with a release targeted for 2027, as reported by The Game Post.

If you played the Modern Warfare 3 beta, you likely noticed some changes. Sledgehammer Games heard what players were saying and made big improvements for the final weekend of testing. These aren’t just small fixes – they’ve adjusted how the game plays, how you level up, and even how gunfights work. The developers have increased the level cap and completely reworked the health system to make the game even better before it officially launches.

Throughout the story, AZ leaves his Floette with your partner character, and it will remain with them even after the game ends. However, observant players may have noticed an empty space in the Mega Evolution Pokedex, hinting that you can eventually obtain Floette yourself. This is true, but it will require some extra effort and tasks in the game that aren’t immediately apparent.
