Pocketpair Publishing announced that Cassette Boy, a game created by a single developer, will officially launch on PC via Steam on January 15.
SteamDB confirms that Cassette Boy will launch on January 15th at midnight Japan time (GMT+9). This means players in time zones west of Japan will be able to play the game starting on January 14th. While this is the confirmed release date, it’s a bit later than the previously announced timeframe of sometime in 2025.
Pocketpair announced that Cassette Boy won’t be limited to PC. They’re partnering with Forever Entertainment to bring the game to consoles, including Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
