This individual shared that there had been a great deal of tension and disappointment surrounding the production, primarily due to the high costs associated with extensive reshoots. Remarkably, these reshoots even involved the incorporation of an entirely new villain, adding yet another layer of complexity to the storyline.
Captain America 4 only had “one period” of additional shoots
Indeed, it’s been clarified by director Julius Onah that just 22 days were utilized for re-filming specific aspects of the superhero film.
In his interview with the Phase Hero podcast, he mentioned that we filmed an extra session for all these productions and it’s consistently done in big-scale filmmaking.
