As a seasoned gamer with decades of gaming under my belt, I must say that Treyarch never fails to impress me with their dedication to improving Black Ops 6 and Warzone. The recent update on December 12 is no exception! The increase in XP earn rates across various modes has made leveling up a breeze, and the addition of new maps to the 10v10 playlist has added a fresh twist to multiplayer.
Treyarch is still refining Black Ops 6 and Warzone, with a minor update coming to both games on December 12th. The update details reveal higher XP earnings across different modes, plus additional maps are being added to the widely-played 10v10 multiplayer playlist.
In Black Ops 6, progressing through levels and prestiging can be quite tedious, but fortunately, one of the major advantages in the recent update is an enhancement to the experience point (XP) acquisition rates. Notably, both player XP and weapon XP rates have been boosted for Domination, Headquarters, Kill Order, and Search and Destroy game modes. Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, and Control also received a bump in weapon XP earnings, while player XP rates were increased specifically for Prop Hunt.

The variety in the 10-versus-10 multiplayer game mode maps has increased significantly. Now, you’ll find the maps Protocol, Extraction, Hideout, and Hacienda available for both regular and challenging gameplay modes.
The update also adds new festive multiplayer mode variants, with holiday-themed updates for Ran-Sack and Infected game modes.
For the undead faction, the recent update tackles two problems specific to the Citadelle des Morts map. Firstly, it addresses a glitch where players might inadvertently gain invincibility following the use of the Rampart Cannon. Secondly, it corrects an issue that could lead players to become trapped after encountering the Amalgam enemy type.
As a gamer, I’m stoked about the recent Warzone update! It might be smaller than usual, but it tackles a concern from our gaming community regarding the visibility of the “Repairman” operator skin on Weaver. Previously, this skin could blend too well in battle royale situations, potentially providing an unintended advantage. However, the patch notes suggest that they’ve fixed this issue, ensuring the skin is now easily spotted from a distance.
Another solution to bugs in Warzone involves addressing a problem where players’ actions were interrupted during the process of swapping armor plates, and also dealing with collision problems found throughout Urzikstan, which had let players take advantage of certain areas before.
The full patch notes for Black Ops 6 and Warzone can be found below, as shared by Activision.
In a fresh update, Season 1 Reloaded of the game has incorporated additional multiplayer maps, a festive Merry Mayhem holiday event, and new downloadable content weapons. Notably, a recent Black Ops 6 and Warzone overhaul brought significant modifications to weapons, such as adjustments to visual recoil and headshot multipliers.
