As a gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I can’t help but feel a twinge of nostalgia when I see Treyarch hinting at holiday-themed content in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies. Remembering the joy of Jingle Hells during the Christmas season in Black Ops Cold War still brings a smile to my face, and I can only imagine how Liberty Falls would look festooned in lights and snowflakes.
As a dedicated gamer, I can’t help but be thrilled about Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies’ ongoing content updates, particularly with the Season 1 refresh that’s brimming with fresh elements and enhancements. With Christmas just around the corner, the community is urging Treyarch to sprinkle some holiday magic on the iconic Liberty Falls map.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies Players Eager for Festive Fun in Liberty Falls
As fans eagerly wait for the launch of the latest Zombies map, Citadelle des Morts, there’s also increasing buzz about possible holiday events in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. Members of the COD Zombies subreddit are particularly hopeful that the Liberty Falls map will be adorned with some festive cheer around Christmas time.

The community has been buzzing with creative ideas for festive additions. User KyleGreenBeanz suggested an Easter egg challenge: “There can be an Easter egg where if you find and shoot 12 presents located around the map, you’ll unlock a cool scene showing Zombie Santa Claus flying overhead and throwing down presents that drop loot.” Another player envisioned “an abomination with little reindeer antlers,” adding a whimsical twist to the undead.
The proposed ideas are generating excitement among gamers, and if implemented, they would certainly introduce a new dimension of joy and holiday spirit into the game. However, the creators have been silent about any Christmas-related content or possible CODMAS event. Still, there’s optimism that a festive surprise might be in store for the Zombies mode during the holidays.
Reflecting on the past, Black Ops Cold War introduced the map Jingle Hells – a festive take on Die Maschine. This winter wonderland was filled with special characteristics, including presents dropping unexpected rewards, snowballs to slow down zombies, and snowmen that could either spawn enemies or gifts upon destruction.
Based on Treyarch’s past record of holiday-themed content and the upcoming snowy transformation of Nuketown, it’s reasonable to expect that Liberty Falls might also get a festive Christmas update. However, until the Season 1 Reloaded patch notes, scheduled for release later this week, are unveiled, we can only speculate about the Christmas-themed surprises Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 might have in store for us.
