Okay, so I’m a huge SpongeBob fan and I was SO excited for the Burger King collab! But apparently, it’s already almost over. I just heard from TopMob that a lot of locations are already selling out of the SpongeBob menu items – and it only launched a few days ago! Seriously, if you want to try it, you need to go NOW before everything’s gone!
The special collaboration launched on December 2nd with a menu featuring iconic treats like the Krabby Whopper (inspired by SpongeBob), Mr. Krabs’ Cheesy Bacon Tots, Patrick’s Star-berry Shortcake Pie, and a refreshing Pirate’s Frozen Pineapple Float.
As a huge SpongeBob fan, I was so excited when the movie tie-in stuff started coming out! Everyone was grabbing the special packaging, crowns, and toys – it really got people hyped for the ‘Search for SquarePants’ movie!
Burger King responds to sellouts
Burger King told TopMob and announced on Instagram that they’re working to get more products back in stock due to high demand.
The new SpongeBob menu is proving incredibly popular! It’s been selling quickly since its launch earlier this week, and some restaurants are starting to run out of certain items, according to reports. Guests are really enjoying it!

Okay, so the awesome SpongeBob meal at Burger King doesn’t have a set end date, which is great news! They’ve said it’s all about how long the special supplies last. They’re promising more stock is on the way, and they think stores will get restocked pretty fast. Though, they’ve also warned that how quickly things sell out might be different depending on where you live, so you might have to hunt for it a little!
Burger King isn’t the only brand partnering with SpongeBob before the new movie comes out on December 19th. Crocs is also getting in on the action with a special Squidward clog featuring the character’s face right on the shoe.
