D-Mebius announced that Burai MSX2 Complete will be released on Nintendo Switch in Japan on February 19th. This collection includes both Burai, originally released for MSX2 in 1990, and its sequel, Burai: Conclusion Arc, which came out in 1992.
As a long-time fan, I remember being blown away by how huge the original Burai games were! The first one came with six floppy disks, and the second with an incredible eight! Now, these new Switch versions are going to be amazing because they’re including a ‘disc switch’ button that actually lets you experience changing those disks just like we did back in the day. It’s a really cool way to stay true to the original experience!
The game collection will be released on Switch in Japan, both as a standard physical copy and a limited edition. The regular version, priced at ¥5,500, will include a single game cartridge with both games. A limited edition will be available for ¥11,000, and it will include a 4-disc soundtrack and a story booklet.
