In the upcoming Episode Heresy, Bungie hinted at modifications for the Trials of Osiris activity in Destiny 2. They assured fans they’ll be sharing more details about these changes “shortly.”

On December 29th, content creator GernanderJake shared a post on X about reaching a personal milestone: completing 5000 flawless runs in Trials of Osiris in Destiny 2. This accomplishment caught the attention of Bungie’s global community leader, dmg04, who congratulated them and hinted at something exciting to come.

Great job! Timing couldn’t be better as we head into the New Year,” dmg04 replied, hinting at potential adjustments for Trials in the upcoming Episode Heresy. Further information will be shared shortly.

The specifics of what these changes might involve were not clarified. Yet, hints about possible alterations could have been unintentionally revealed by RedHot, a third-party 3D art studio, who may have already given us a sneak peek.

As a veteran of countless trials and tribulations throughout my life, I can’t help but feel a sense of anticipation as we usher in the new year. The unpredictability of Trials during Episode Heresy has always been a constant factor, and it seems that this time around may be no exception. With a history of overcoming adversity and adapting to change, I’m eager to see what challenges await me. Stay tuned for more details, but rest assured that I will face whatever comes my way with determination and resilience. 💛😉

Unreleased armor

As a gaming enthusiast, I’ve been keeping an eye on RedHot’s ArtStation profile – it’s brimming with designs for multiple armor sets and stylish cosmetics for Bungie’s popular loot-shooting game.

Among them, items like Crota’s End gear, assorted Eververse vessels, and Ghost Shells were moved to the active game, yet a specific, unlaunched Titan armor set might hint at updated rewards for the Trials of Osiris, potentially.

The helmet design is inspired by Anubis, similar to the widely recognized Hood of the Exile (Warlock’s gear), while the look of the Titan’s shoulders and Class Item resembles the armor used in the Trials, a type of equipment that is already part of our in-game collection.

It’s important to note that these designs might have no connection whatsoever with Trials, and they may be elements that Bungie decides not to utilize at all.

Although these rumored episodes might become official and launch, it won’t start until February 7th. Therefore, it’s still a while before we find out precisely what Bungie plans for the endgame PvP activity.

From the present moment until then, you can eagerly anticipate Act 3 of The Revenant, set to debut during the weekly refresh on January 7th. For additional details, check out our informative center.
