Bully meets American Pie in brand-new Agefield High: Rock The School

Been hoping for another game like Bully? Agefield High: Rock the School might be exactly what you’re looking for, capturing the feel of the mid-2000s perfectly.

Even though 2026 is set to be the year of Grand Theft Auto 6, there are plenty of other games releasing in the next 12 months that are going to have plenty of intrigue around them. That includes Agefield High: Rock the School.

The upcoming game, scheduled for release in early 2026, is gaining popularity online, and many people are comparing it to Rockstar Games’ Bully.

This game, developed by Refugium Games, puts you in the role of Sam, a new student at Agefield High. Along with his friends Kale and Axel, Sam is determined to make a big impact before graduating. The game is set in 2002, giving players a nostalgic trip back to that era.

I’m really excited about this new game! It sounds a lot like Bully, where you juggle school, earning money, and even finding a relationship. Apparently, you can ditch class and do jobs like mowing lawns to save up for cool stuff, but you’ve got to be sneaky and avoid getting caught!

You’ll have five classes to go to at school: English, Math, German, Geography, and Music. Each class includes little games, similar to those found in the game Bully.

Since you’re in high school, you’ll need to steer clear of some of the popular students, especially Seth – he’s the main rival in the game. Some missions will require you to avoid his line of sight, because getting noticed means a fight, and he seems to have a lot more friends than Sam.

Besides being compared to the game Bully, Agefield High: Rock the School also reminds people of the movie American Pie. It really captures that early 2000s vibe, focusing on the awkwardness of teenage life and relationships.

There’s no firm release date confirmed yet. The game is currently listed on Steam for release in ‘Q2 2026,’ and it’s already generating a lot of positive buzz on social media.

One person enthusiastically exclaimed, “American Pie Simulator before GTA6? Absolutely!” Another chimed in, saying it wasn’t the sequel to Bully they’d hoped for, but it was a decent substitute.
