Breaking Bad Star Aaron Paul Reveals His Favorite Games, And He Has Good Taste

Aaron Paul, known for his role in Breaking Bad, has recently starred in the new episodic game, Dispatch – his first time as a leading actor in a video game. While he’s a longtime gaming enthusiast, he told IGN that the original Resident Evil from 1996 holds a special place as one of his favorite games.

He said he never expected to feel so strongly while playing a game. It was genuinely frightening, and gave him chills like nothing he’d ever experienced in a movie, but he couldn’t look away.

Paul shared that he’s a big fan of the Halo games and really enjoyed playing them with friends after moving to Los Angeles to become an actor. He said revisiting the game as an adult brought back a sense of childhood fun. Interestingly, Microsoft is about to announce the next Halo installment, which Paul would likely be excited to hear.

Paul also highlighted GoldenEye as one of his all-time favorite games. He’s such a big fan that he’s lost count of how many times he’s played it.

Dispatch is a funny, story-driven adventure game developed by AdHoc Studio – the team behind some popular Telltale Games titles. It follows Paul Robert Robertson, a retired superhero who now works as a dispatcher for other heroes. The game was released on PlayStation 5 and PC on October 22nd.

Although Dispatch is Paul’s debut in the world of video games, he previously appeared in the 2014 film Need for Speed, which was inspired by the popular EA racing game series.
