Despite Sony’s silence and efforts to stop fan projects, Bloodborne fans are still hoping for a continuation of the series. Recent speculation suggests that Bluepoint Studio might be developing a remake of the beloved game.
- The source of these speculations is a new job offer at the studio. They’re looking for a Senior Combat Designer with experience in creating third-person games focused on melee combat.
- Of course, this project could be many things, but there are reasons to believe it might be a Bloodborne remake. Bluepoint is known for revamping older games, and their latest project was a remake of Demon’s Souls, another game by FromSoftware.

Bluepoint Games recently attempted to create original games, but unfortunately, those efforts didn’t succeed. They were developing a new online game connected to the *God of War* universe, but that project was cancelled earlier in the year. It appears Sony may have decided to play it safe and asked Bluepoint to focus on another remake instead. If that’s the case, *Bloodborne* would be the most popular choice.
Bloodborne came out in 2015 for the PlayStation 4. Shortly after, it received its one and only expansion pack, called The Old Hunters.
