- Neon Genesis Evangelion is arriving in the world of Blood Strike
- Take on the strange extra-terrestrial(?) angels as they invade
- Grab new cosmetics and weapons inspired by the series
Everyone recognizes a few classic anime titles like Dragon Ball, Gundam, and Neon Genesis Evangelion. Now, fans can enjoy Hideaki Anno’s acclaimed series in a unique and action-packed way thanks to a new collaboration with the game Blood Strike!
The hit battle royale game from NetEase is getting a special update! Players will soon be able to play as characters and fight against enemies from the series in a new, limited-time event called ‘Angels Invade.’ Defeating these otherworldly Angels will reward you with valuable items like gear and loot.
To prepare for the new challenge, you’ll want to upgrade your weapons. As part of this, we’re releasing a special new weapon, the SCAR – EVA 08, inspired by a popular mecha from the series. It will be available until November 30th.

There’s plenty of other goodies on offer, of course. But you’re probably wondering what else there is in the way of representation for NGE. And it wouldn’t be a collab with this hit series without the appearance of Asuka and Rei.
From November 1st to 30th, you can unlock new looks for EMT (Rei Skin) and Katya (Asuka Skin), inspired by the popular duo. These skins, along with other items themed after the mechs from the series, are only available for a limited time, so don’t miss out – check them out before November 30th!
Okay, so I try to keep up with gaming news, but honestly, there are so many new games coming out, it’s easy to miss some hidden gems. That’s why I love checking out “Stay Ahead of the Game” – this week, Catherine’s giving us the lowdown on Hatch Dragons! I’m excited to see what she thinks.
