As a seasoned movie reviewer with a penchant for children’s content and a soft spot for educational programming, I must say that this collaboration between Moonbug Entertainment and Lingokids is nothing short of a game-changer! The fusion of “Blippi” and Lingokids’ interactive learning environment promises to create an engaging and immersive experience for preschoolers around the world.

The creators of “CoComelon,” Moonbug Entertainment, have teamed up with the educational app company, Lingokids, to introduce games starring characters from their hit live-action preschool series, “Blippi.

The “Blippi” brand encompasses numerous shows across various platforms, featuring the main character who functions as a preschool-aged child’s close friend and encourages learning through play by providing entertaining and interactive content and experiences. This content ranges from backyard science experiments, trips to the rainforest, racing tracks, and even outer space expeditions.

For the first time, Lingokids, a language learning platform that debuted in 2015, has collaborated to incorporate an external intellectual property (IP) – Moonbug’s “Blippi” games – into its Lingokids app. This app is reportedly utilized by over 100 million families globally.

As stated by Moonbug and Lingokids, “The fresh content will blend our effective educational approach with Moonbug’s captivating characters. This interactive material is designed to foster key abilities such as vocabulary expansion, problem solving, creativity, and emotional understanding for kids aged between 2-8.

The interactive games starring Blippi and his companions have just been released on the Lingokids app, with additional content set to debut soon.

Under the ownership of Candle Media, led by Kevin Mayer and Tom Staggs, Moonbug Entertainment is renowned for its collection of well-liked preschool shows. These include “Blippi” and “CoComelon,” which can be found on over 150 video platforms worldwide, such as Netflix, Disney+, BBC iPlayer, YouTube Kids, and more.

For a while now, I’ve been an enthusiast of Lingokids, and it was thrilling for me to introduce the first third-party intellectual property into their platform as they keep growing,” Ed Barton, Moonbug vice president of gaming and interactive, stated. “We understand that children are drawn to Blippi due to his spark of curiosity in everyday learning. It’s delightful to witness this transformation happening within the Lingokids app.

As a passionate film enthusiast, I’m overjoyed to announce our exciting alliance with Moonbug Entertainment! This partnership enables us, at Lingokids, to broaden our educational content and offer distinctive learning adventures that truly captivate young minds. By doing so, we continue our mission to ignite the imagination and empower the upcoming generation, shaping their future in the best possible way.

Viedma mentions that the team is discussing potential collaborations with Moonbug Entertainment and additional children’s media firms, aiming to develop Lingokids app games based on already well-known intellectual properties.
