The cosmos of finance finally got a new star to peep at, as Bittensor (TAO) price decided, for once, not to play hide-and-seek with its value, plumping up a wholesome 20% on Friday, the 31st of October.☄️ It soared from a dismal $414 to a whooping $490, making investors feel like they had won the intergalactic lottery instead of merely cashing in on Europe‘s first staked TAO exchange-traded product (ETP).
This warp-speed increase in value followed the launch of the Safello Bittensor Staked TAO ETP (ticker: STAO), courtesy of Deutsche Digital Assets (who probably think “digital” and “assets” sound even cooler together) and Safello (which, as far as we know, doesn’t make pies). They unveiled this stellar offering on Wednesday.
According to a report probably written while having a light lunch on Coindesk, the new Bittensor ETP is now gallivanting across major European platforms like the SIX Swiss Exchange. It gives institutional-grade exposure to TAO, the native token of the decentralized AI network Bittensor, and inexplicably assures investors they can snag both staking rewards and TAO’s price appreciation. Just like free cake on your birthday-except the cake is held in cold storage by a regulated custodian. The firm also confirmed there’s a 1.49% management fee, which sounds like a great deal if you consider it a very small tax on reinvested staking returns and operational costs.

The increase in institutional interest kind of positions Bittensor alongside the likes of Sir Isaac Newton and the Spice Girls in the hall of fame of decentralized AI infrastructure sectors. This latest rally hoisted TAO into the top 30 cryptocurrencies, floating towards a $5 billion valuation. Now that’s not just a number; it’s a walk on the green money carpet.

As if the ETPIRE wasn’t enough to choke on, investors are also angst-ridden over Bittensor’s impending halving event, rumored to slash TAO mining rewards by 50% in just over 41 days-a peculiar number, probably numerologically significant. Trading volumes shot up 59% intraday, akin to a long-lost tribe finally locating a pot of gold at the end of Bitcoin’s rainbow.
Bittensor Price Forecast: Can Halving Bets Spark a Break Above $600?
On the technical chart, where one might expect alien landscapes, TAO shows an uncomfortable amount of proverbial backbone. Despite minor pullbacks (much like an untied shoelace on a marathon day this week), the price continues to form higher lows since October 10.This suggests there’s ongoing accumulation, making people think they might actually be accumulating wealth and not just plot twists leading to a sci-fi movie about time-traveling accountants.
The Keltner Channel bands are about as wide as a spaceship entrance, indicating the market’s volatility is set to rival that of a black hole’s birthday bash. Meanwhile, the Relative Strength Index sits comfortably near 65.7, like a cat on a sunny windowsill. A bullish MACD crossover implies there might still be room for further ascension, like a triumphant shoelace that won’t come undone.

Immediate resistance hovers at $540, staring down from its pedestal set earlier in 2025. Imagine this, a breakout above $510, confirmed by a sustained close past the upper Keltner band, would cement the bullish trend as seriously cool as a deck chair on a rocket. However, if the price slides below $430, it might just invalidate bullish hopes faster than you can say “ship it back to the manufacturer”. In that case, TAO’s journey might not be as stellar as first hoped, perhaps diving toward a correction around $380.
