Billy Crystal and his wife, Janice, sadly had to part ways with their long-held residence (over four decades) due to the destructive Pacific Palisades fire.

In a statement given to CNN, Crystal acknowledged that their house was destroyed by the currently ongoing, over 15,000-acre wildfire in West Los Angeles.

Crystal expressed the depth of destruction we’re facing, stating it’s beyond words. She sympathizes deeply with those in our community who, like us, have lost their homes and livelihoods in this calamity. Crystal and Janice have resided in their house since 1979, a place where they brought up their children and grandchildren. Their home was brimming with love, filled with precious memories that can never be erased.

Our statement proceeded, ‘We’re undoubtedly saddened, yet with the affection of our children and friends, we shall persevere. We send our prayers for the well-being of the firefighters and first responders. Pacific Palisades, being a robust community filled with remarkable individuals, will regain its strength. It’s our home, and we trust it will rebuild.’

Crystal, like numerous other acting professionals based in Los Angeles, has unfortunately had her home destroyed by the fires. James Woods became emotional and wept during a conversation with CNN when he learned that his house was consumed by the Palisades fire.

One moment you’re enjoying a swim in the pool, and then suddenly, it’s no longer there,” Woods explained during his broadcast interview. “The situation was turbulent, resembling a massive blaze. All around us, houses seemed to be ablaze.

30-year-old beach home belonging to Oscar-winning songwriter Diane Warren was destroyed by fire, as shared on Instagram.

Warren penned, “A rainbow shines upon it, a symbol of hope for every creature impacted by this disaster. Thankfully, the animals and the rescue sanctuary are unscathed, which is the crucial point. Stay secure, everyone.
