As a seasoned cinephile and music enthusiast who has witnessed countless performances of legendary artists, I eagerly anticipate Beyoncé‘s Christmas performance on Netflix. Having been fortunate enough to attend her electrifying Super Bowl appearances, I can only imagine the magic she will weave in her hometown of Houston.

On Christmas day, Beyoncé will dazzle Houston with her halftime performance during the Ravens-Texans game, streaming exclusively on Netflix. Make sure to tune in live on December 25th; otherwise, you’ll have just a short window of time to catch the replay on Netflix.

Beyoncé Knowles, popularly known as Queen B, will perform some of her new songs from “Cowboy Carter” for the first time live during her Christmas special. This special event will take place in Houston, her hometown, during halftime of the Baltimore Ravens versus Houston Texans game at NRG Stadium in Houston.

Netflix, in its ongoing expansion into live sports, has secured global broadcast rights for two NFL games on Christmas Day in 2024: firstly, the matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Pittsburgh Steelers, scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. Eastern Time; secondly, the Ravens-Texans game, set to kick off at 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time.

In the United States, under its deal with the NFL, Netflix only allows you to rewatch the two Christmas games for three hours after the live broadcast ends (so Beyoncé’s performance and the Ravens-Texans game will no longer be accessible on Netflix around 11 p.m. ET). In other countries, these games will disappear from Netflix 24 hours following the end of the live stream. Additionally, for all viewers, including those with ad-free plans, there will be commercial breaks during the NFL livestreams on Netflix.

Beyoncé has performed at two Super Bowl halftime shows: In 2013, she took the stage in New Orleans for a Destiny’s Child reunion, and in 2016, she performed “Formation” while Coldplay led the main event.

On Christmas morning, Netflix’s pre-game coverage will begin at 11 am Eastern Time, broadcasting live from NFL Network’s studios in Los Angeles and Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh. In a special treat for viewers, Mariah Carey has been invited to record a performance of her iconic holiday song “All I Want for Christmas Is You” that will be played before the day’s two matches.

If you’ve already missed the live broadcast of NFL games on Netflix, don’t worry! You still have opportunities to watch the rebroadcasts. The NFL Network has scheduled reruns for some matches:

To add, the two Netflix Christmas Day games will be aired on traditional TV stations within the home cities of the competing teams. Additionally, these games can be streamed live in the United States for those with an NFL+ subscription on their mobile devices.
