I was so excited to finally get my hands on Berserk Volume 42! Dark Horse released it on March 18th, and as a fan, it’s amazing to have a new volume after Kentaro Miura’s passing in 2021. I grabbed the paperback on Amazon for just $10 – it was on sale from $15! It’s 192 pages and has a really cool fold-out cover. This volume continues the Fantasia arc, and it’s special knowing that Miura’s close friend, Koji Mori, helped oversee its creation, along with Miura’s assistants. It’s a great way to continue experiencing the story he loved so much.

If you’re a fan of Berserk, you might enjoy *The Flame Dragon Knight*, a novel set in the same universe. Written by Makoto Fukami based on an idea from Kentaro Miura, this 192-page book tells the backstory of a key villain. You can find the paperback edition for $12.74—it’s currently discounted from $15.

The Golden Age Arc of Berserk, originally released as a trilogy of movies between 2012 and 2013, is now available on Blu-ray. A remastered version, called the Golden Age Arc: Memorial Edition, presents the story as a 13-episode series.
