I’m hearing that David Harbour might be joining forces with Pedro Pascal again – remember them in Avengers: Doomsday? Apparently, they’re in talks to star in a new film from Andor series creator Tony Gilroy, called Behemoth!, and fans are already getting excited. This comes as I understand David is wrapping up his work on Stranger Things. It’s not official yet, but the idea of these two acting together is already creating a lot of buzz. Honestly, as a fan, I’m really hoping it happens – I’d love to see the Stranger Things star and Pascal share the screen!
David Harbour in talks for Tony Gilroy’s Behemoth! with Avengers: Doomsday costar Pedro Pascal
It’s being reported that David Harbour is in talks to star alongside Pedro Pascal in Behemoth!, the upcoming film by Andor creator Tony Gilroy. This marks Gilroy’s first time writing and directing a movie since The Bourne Legacy in 2012. Many fans are especially thrilled about this pairing because Pascal and Harbour are also appearing together in Avengers: Doomsday (via Deadline).
Currently, most of the story’s specifics are being kept secret. What we do know is that the film will center around a cellist. Filming is set to start this autumn in Los Angeles, and will be produced by Searchlight Pictures. Tony Gilroy will produce the movie with Sanne Wohlenberg, and Damián García will be in charge of the cinematography.
David Harbour, famous for playing Jim Hopper in Stranger Things, is getting ready for the show’s fifth and final season, which will debut later this year. With representation from WME and Sloan Offer Weber, he’s already starting to work on significant new projects now that his well-known TV role is coming to an end.
Harbour has just finished filming the HBO limited series DTF St. Louis and will once again play Red Guardian in Avengers: Doomsday. He’s also confirmed to return for the sequel to Universal’s action movie, Violent Night.
I’m really excited about all the work Pascal has been doing! 2025 seems like a huge year for him, with so many cool projects lined up – things like The Materialists, The Last of Us Season 2, The Fantastic Four: First Steps, and Eddington. Plus, he’s been working on Behemoth! for quite a while now, which I’m really looking forward to seeing!
