Beef Season Two Follows a Gen Z-vs.-Millennial Couple-Off

The drama has escalated! Season two is much larger in scope than the first, featuring a bigger cast and a more complex storyline. Instead of focusing on a single conflict between two individuals, this season will explore criminal activity involving multiple couples across different generations.

Early previews of the film introduce a young couple – Charles Melton and Cailee Spaeny – who are employees at a golf club. They unexpectedly see their boss, Oscar Isaac, and his wife, Carrie Mulligan, in a heated argument that turns physical. Mulligan throws and breaks an object, and Isaac shouts at her while threateningly waving a golf club. The couple is then caught by the arguing pair when they accidentally take a picture.

As a movie fan, I’m really excited about the new season! The first season was amazing, focusing on the escalating conflict between the characters played by Ali Wong and Steven Yeun. But this time, they’ve added a ton of incredible actors! We’re talking Carey Mulligan, Oscar Isaac (from Dune and Star Wars!), Charles Melton who was fantastic in May December, and Sophia Spaeny, who I loved in Priscilla. Plus, Oscar winner Youn Yuh-jung (Minari) and Song Kang-ho (Parasite) are joining the cast! Honestly, with all these talented people playing wealthy folks interacting with staff at a fancy country club, it’s giving me major The White Lotus vibes. Mark your calendars – the new season starts April 16th!
