As a long-time follower and admirer of MrBeast’s content, I must say that the drama unfolding in Beast Games is nothing short of captivating! The tension between contestants in Episode 2 was palpable, especially when it came to the white team’s dilemma about telling the truth or not.
In the initial contest of Episode 2’s Beast Games, a heated debate ensued between two competitors regarding the truthfulness about their loss, even though MrBeast had already declared their team victorious.
Following weeks of playful banter from MrBeast, Beast Games officially debuted its inaugural episodes on Amazon Prime Video on December 19th. The competition has already stirred intense feelings among the participants.
In Episode 2, during Challenge 1 titled “Hope You Can Catch,” approximately half of the original 1000 competitors were still participating in the game.
Throughout the competition, each participant received a token defining their respective teams. Once divided onto opposite sides, they were required to await the descent of giant red balls from above.
In the heat of Beast Games, I was part of a duo facing off against other teams. The moment one team accidentally let their ball hit the ground, they were out, leaving us as the sole survivors. We moved forward to tackle the next challenge.
Despite the fact that the yellow team was declared the losers in the Hope You Can Catch challenge, it was actually the white team that got eliminated in the end.
Initially, the control room believed they saw the yellow team let go of the first ball, but upon rewinding, it turned out that it was actually the white team who dropped the initial ball.
Contestant tells his teammate to stop “spreading” the truth about losing
Prior to MrBeast being made aware of the error, a competitor from the white team admitted that they had accidentally dropped the initial ball. This confession sparked a debate among their fellow team members about whether or not they should inform the YouTube personality about the incident.
The first one was caught by the contestant, but he fumbled it and dropped it. He admitted this, acknowledging that they were being filmed, when he said, “I can’t fake it.” His teammate then replied, “I’m going to make you sit out because every time you talk about it, you’re spreading the word more… just stay still and be silent.
Following the disagreement, the YouTuber found it necessary to change their initial stance and disqualify the white team, as the footage showed they hadn’t performed well enough.
In the heat of the event, we didn’t manage to spot it… However, every choice made throughout the performance was later scrutinized, and upon closer examination, we found that the right ball had been used, as MrBeast revealed.
Despite the defeated player on the white team wishing to confess, he wasn’t required to do so. Yet, this revelation didn’t lessen the difficulty faced by his fellow players who were all dismissed from the competition, forfeiting their opportunity to win a whopping $5 million in Beast Games.
On Thursdays, you can watch fresh installments of Beast Games on Amazon Prime. In all, there will be ten episodes, culminating in the final showdown scheduled for February 13th.
