Beast Games contestant vows to find cure for son’s rare brain disease if he wins

Jeffrey Allen, a competitor on Beast Games, submitted an application for the chance to win the $5M prize, which he aims to use towards finding a cure for his son’s uncommon brain disorder. Currently, he’s ranked among the top six contestants and is hopeful about securing the money.

493 participants were gathered at Beast City, Toronto, Canada – a location specially constructed by YouTube sensation MrBeast – for his Beast Games event, which featured a grandiose $15 million stage setup.

Among numerous applicants, each one harbored unique motivations for seeking a spot on the hit reality TV show, The Prime Competition.

Some participants merely applied without much expectation of being selected, contrastingly, contender 831, Jeffery Allen, deliberately decided to participate in Beast Games, aiming to win the $5M prize.

If Allen, ranked among the top six players in Beast Games, emerges victorious, he has pledged to dedicate his efforts towards finding a cure for his son’s uncommon brain disorder.

At age two, Lucas, his seven-year-old child, received a diagnosis of Creatine Transporter Deficiency (CTD). This condition hinders the brain’s capacity to obtain the creatine essential for energy production and growth. As a result, Lucas experiences difficulties with speech, cognitive skills, and motor functions.

During a candid video blog, when Beast Games was taking a break from filming, Allen revealed his reason for joining the show. “I’m doing this with a noble intention – to aid in finding a cure for my son. That’s why I’m here. In essence, I enrolled myself for him, he is my motivation.

Despite opportunities to depart from Beast Games with money offered by MrBeast, Allen chose instead to stick it out and aim for the final round, where he could win the grand prize.

Despite his competitive approach potentially appearing as a risk, his heartwarming tale about his son touched the hearts of fellow competitors so deeply that he was shielded during specific competitions.

As the final chapter unfolds, I find myself with a 1-in-6 chance of pocketing a whopping $5M. If you’re curious to know if fortune smiles upon me, don’t forget to catch the grand finale on Beast Games, streaming exclusively on Prime Video, this coming Thursday, February 13th.
