
EA DICE has just launched a significant update for Battlefield 6, the second of three planned for the first season. To build on this and attract new players, the developers are offering a free weekend – from November 25th to December 2nd, everyone can play the game without charge.
This isn’t a complete version of the game, though. For seven days, players will be able to sample five multiplayer modes on three different maps. However, Electronic Arts hasn’t yet announced which specific modes and maps will be available.
Okay, so this deal is awesome news for anyone thinking of picking up the game, and even for people who just like a quick, action-packed shooter. But honestly, a lot of us who already play the sixth Battlefield are pretty frustrated right now. The latest update wiped all our settings, which is a huge pain!
Battlefield 6 was released on October 10, 2025, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
