Battlefield games have often had server problems when they first release, but David Sirland, who’s leading the production of the next Battlefield game, seems confident they’ve addressed those issues this time around.
He announced on social media that the servers are expected to be ready for launch. He also mentioned that the popular open beta for Battlefield 6 gave them a good idea of how much interest there was in the game.
Battlefield 6’s open beta was a huge hit, attracting over 20 million players and peaking at more than 500,000 playing at the same time on Steam. The beta was so popular that the developers had to create waiting lines to manage the load. It’s currently unknown if these waiting lines will also be necessary when the complete game launches.
Battlefield 2042, released in 2021, didn’t have a smooth start, and previous games in the Battlefield series have faced similar issues. Because of this, fans are naturally concerned about the launch of the next game, Battlefield 6.
The new Battlefield game is generating a lot of excitement, especially after players enjoyed the open beta test in August. The first season of content will arrive on October 28th, and many believe that’s also when the game’s battle royale mode will become available.
